Thierry Schuepbach

Thierry has always been passionate by computers and their potential to solve complex systems. This led him to study Physics and later obtained a PhD in quantum chaos from the Institute of Theoretical Physics of EPFL. He later joined the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics. For more than a decade, Thierry contributed to many inter-university projects developing and optimizing algorithms in various fields of Bioinformatics. In 2019, Thierry left academia for JSR Life Sciences NGS-AI initiative as head of algorithm development and IT, intercontinentally connecting a next generation sequencing facility with a computing cluster. Thierry enrolled with NewBiologix in 2023 as Chief Digital Officer. He is in charge of all aspects of digitalization of the company and leads the next generation sequencing department.
