Pierre-Olivier Duroy

Pierre-Olivier Duroy completed his PhD in plant virology from the University of Montpellier in France followed by a post-doctoral position at Bayer Crop Science focusing on mycorrhiza effect in rice. He did a second postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Molecular Biotechnology at University of Lausanne where he developed a strategy to mitigate potential endogenous retroviruses contaminations during biopharmaceutical manufacturing. He then worked at Selexis as R&D Director where he led molecular biology projects and coordinated NGS programs. He joined NewBiologix in 2022 as Vice President of Genomics to supervise the Molecular Biology Team for developing innovative genetic tools for cell line engineering.
